WELCOME!

Outlantacon is an Atlanta-based event for the Queer Geek audience! You'll find all the usual convention fare here—discussion panels, gaming, costuming, special events, etc—the difference is that it all has a queer 'bent' to it. Here you can enjoy all the convention trappings in an atmosphere where you're free to be yourself! We also offer some pretty unique twists as well, like our own versions of Match Game (a staple since 2007), Project Cosplay (introduced in 2010) and Nea's Drag Race (a new addition in 2011).

NEWS

1/24/12: We're very excited to announce that we'll be joined this year by Eric Green and Jevocas "Java" Green (and before you ask, no relation), creators and executive producers of a new fan film series, Uncanny X-Men. This series is based on the most classic storylines from the comics. Season One retells the Dark Phoenix saga. Eric and Java will be appearing on panels where you can find out more about the inception and development of this series as well as the filming process. We'll also be screening some of the episodes.

12/16/11: New Guest to announce: The only known Star Trek drag queen (at least in this quadrant), Moxie Magnus, Chieif Cosmetology Officer aboard the USS Enterprise — and the only cadet in history to pass the Kobayasi Hairdo without cheating — will be joining us for two performances on Friday and Saturday nights. 11/15/11: We're very excited to announce our new partnership with Georgia Equality! We'll be doing some really cool events with them at our convention in 2012, so stay tuned for more details.
