OUTLANTACON 2010 PROGRAMMING

Come join us for our Big Day of Gaming! Here are some things to look forward to:

Game Swap:

Bring some of your games that maybe you don't play anymore and swap with others who may be looking for just what you have! Here's a chance to update your game collection with new stuff.

Gaming Demos:

We will have sessions throughout the day for beginners who want to learn to play a certain game. There will be tournaments of some of these games later in the day. Check the Gaming Page for full details.

Gaming Tournaments:

CarcassonneWe will have tournaments going on throughout the day. We will be adding more to the list below, and a specific schedule is forthcoming. Demos of any of the games that will be featured in a tournament will precede the scheduled tournament time (so that beginners can have the chance to be involved in the tournaments). The list so far:

  • Ticket to Ride
  • Settlers of Catan
  • Carcassonne
  • Scrabble

Check the Gaming Page for more details.

'Family' Feud '10: (8:00 p.m.)

Family Feud In our continuing efforts to pay homage to the classic television game shows of the past, we will be introducing our adaption of the Family Feud.

We are updating this timeless classic. The questions will have a SF/F/H or a GLBT slant to them. The game will pit "families" of four against one another. So bring your friends, create your own family and defend it's honor.

Sci-Fi Team Trivia:Sci-Fi Trivia

We will finish up the evening with Sci-Fi Team Trivia. There is nothing like a relaxing game of Trivia to wind down from a full day of gaming.
